There was a time when I felt ashamed to admit that despite how smart and “successful” I seemed on the outside, my financial situation was a hot mess.
I knew what I was supposed to do with money.
I just wasn’t doing it.
At 26, I hit financial rock bottom after allowing my heart to hijack my wallet in a dysfunctional relationship. I had credit card debt, owed money to three payday lenders, and felt completely overwhelmed by the mess I’d created.
Eventually, I realized something that would change not only my financial life but the trajectory of my career: Money is emotional.
Knowing what to do isn’t always enough.
I had to understand why I was making those financial decisions before I could create lasting change.
That’s why I’ll never judge you for your money struggles, mistakes, or messy financial history.
I’ve been there.
And I also know what’s possible on the other side.
